The significance of photovoltaic hydrogen production to the photovoltaic industry

Photovoltaic hydrogen production creates a new application scenario and broad market demand for photovoltaic power generation. The current global demand for hydrogen is about 60 million tons per year. If it were all produced by photovoltaic power generation, more than 1,500 GW of photovoltaic power would be needed. In the next thirty years, the average annual new demand for hydrogen will be more than 20 million tons, and approximately 900 GW of new photovoltaic installed capacity will be needed every year.
